Artificial Intelligence’s Role in Achieving President Trump’s Job Creation Promise
“AI and Robotics could be instrumental in returning outsourced American factories back home”, according to Jannie Strydom, CEO of LarcAI
Artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics could play a key role in bringing manufacturing jobs back to America, according to Jannie Strydom, CEO of LarcAI. In the mid-80s, companies such as AT&T, United Technologies and General Motors moved their manufacturing to countries with cheaper labour costs, starting a trend that has continued for decades. However, with many developed nations now facing population implosions, and a decline in young people entering the labour market, AI and robotics could help to boost productivity and prevent economic collapse. According to Accenture, AI has the potential to double economic growth rates annually by 2035.
